I was born in Louisiana but blessed to have been raised on a farm here in Shelby County, Texas.  After graduating from Shelbyville High School in 2008, I attended Tyler Junior College and Panola College, majoring in Marketing. My passion for life is rooted in being a wife and mother.  My family and I enjoy quality time together, which can be defined as roping (my husband's passion), walking (with my mother) or anything else that demands time outside. Being editor/owner of the Natural Texan Magazine adds to that love of the outdoors by encouraging you, the reader, to get up and outside to enjoy the blessings of nature.
